{INTERJECTION}

Ptolemy Uncovers
Heavens Tin Roof
Columbus Discovers
Tracks of Deer Hoof
The Universe
Is Mapped Out
and Charted

The Indians
Are Pushed Out
and Slaughtered
and We Still
Call Ourselves Civil
From Pay Phones
With a Quarter

Roll My Eyes
Into the Projector
They Captivate
The Dream Injector
and I Sometimes
Forget Reality
But Love
I Can't Remember
For the Life of Me
Because I Carry
The Weight of Two Worlds
That Are Beyond
Soon It Won't Matter
Soon I'll Be
Long Gone
